Intro to Watershed Systems

Introduction to hydrologic and geomorphic processes in watersheds as applied to problems in flood analysis, water quality, and interactions of hydrology and environmental sciences. Drainage networks, nested catchments, and distribution and controls of precipitation, evaporation, runoff, and groundwater flow. Includes local field trips. (EES) Requisites: Prerequisite, ENEC 202 or GEOG 110; permission of the instructor for students lacking the prerequisite. Gen Ed: PL, EE- Field Work. Grading status: Letter grade.
